Cod Fish Pie


4 cod fillets
juice of half lemon
1 large sliced onion
2 large tomatoes, skinned and sliced
450g (1 lb) potatoes, boiled20and sliced
10g ( half ounce) butter
salt and pepper


Put fillets in well buttered ovenproof dish
Season with salt and pepper and lemon juice
Arrange sliced tomatoes and onion over the fish
Then arrange the potato slices on top
Dot with butter
Cover dish and bake for 30 mins at gas mark 4 (350F degrees)
Remove lid and bake for a further 15 mins
