Sardine and Lemon Paté


  • Two x 150g tins of sardines in olive oil
  • 125g softened butter
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of french mustard
  • Salt and black pepper



Drain sardines well
Mix ingredients together, seasoning with a little salt and a good amount of black pepper
Beat until smooth
Spoon into individual pots
Chill well, and serve with hot buttered toast.
