Tea Scones
Rub fat into flour Add remaining dry ingredients Bind together with egg/water mix to give fairly soft dough Roll out on floured board to half inch thickness Curt into rounds, brush with milk Bake on a greased and floured tray for 10 mins at gas mark 8 (450 degrees) Serve with butter or cream and jam ( or all three!) |
